This is supposed to be chapter 36 but it clearly says chapter 12 on the actual chapter, why cut them so short? It confused the readers and doesn't sync up with other manga hosting sites who post it the correct way. ┗( T﹏T )┛
So we ended at 25 chapters. Story is basic but has a good pacing for the beginning but lost its momentum during the end.
It almost reads like the author wanted a "Friendship was the strength we needed all along" lesson to be learned by readers lol felt very corny but I didn't feel annoyed by it, so good for that.
No real revenge was had, king still survived even though he was the most evil of them all and the saintess was forgiven and still became their friend.
Why not go back in time and let the crown prince take the thrown? He could be better than the king and he would be able to save his dead fiancee.
Why forgive the Saintess? She sent assassins after you and you family, killed you fiancee more than 5+ times, and you've witnesses all of this.
But this is why I'm not a all-loving-and forgiving MC i guess lol ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
This is once again a "Read with a empty mind but a full heart" type of plot lol
If you think this is a sweet and fluffy daddy/daughter story, then you would be half wrong. While it is about family and a single Duke raising his haughty daughter, it's a mess of plot and has to.many schemes for me to keep up with.
So the main story is; Young villainous is accused of harming the saint and sentenced to death, her father does nothing to help her and so during her execution her biggest regret and resentment was how coldly her father treated her and how she wants revenge, but after going back to her childhood she discovers she can read his mind.
So does that change anything? No not really. Her dad is still cold on the outside, but is a "daughter-obsessed fool" on the inside. He still makes terrible decisions and thinks their doing her good but he's actually making everything worse.
There are other stories that have similar plots, but think one doesn't even make me want to forgive the dad, like who cares if you love your daughter your making everything worse!

☆ their not brothers at least, uke's brother has a wife, wife's dad took in friends kid and raised him. So the Seme's technically ukes brother-in-law, hence why he calls him brother.
☆while the seme didn't "force himself" on the uke, he sure did assault and confine during their first 24-hours together. Then he continued to have sex with the him when the uke had second thoughts on continuing. So while rape is a stretch, if this was a real life couple and I heard about this, I would call the Seme a rapist no matter what excuse is used.
☆uke liked and still likes his brothers wife, so he only agreed to fuck seme because he was heart-broken and under the influence of alcohol, not a convincing "I'm mentally prepared to consent" moment.
☆all the artist talent went into making the Seme pretty I see.

I wish authors gave the woman in these stories more sharp, seductive faces. They all look so round and boring. Just looking at the MCs eyes in the first chapter, she seemed like someone who cries at the drop of a hat and not a villain. She looked so good in the cover image, just the right amount of sharpness and pretty but the actual story art fell through
