Go ahead and write dark fiction bl full of wondrous tension with toxic leads and traumatic past but only act with full consent goodness. It has been done multiple times before, and you can do it too. Be involved in the creative field instead of just consuming contents. And try to build an audience and make money from it. There's a rape culture problem in East asia and it affects the way fictions are written there. So maybe you can be the change you wanna see instead of complaining ('◡') or at least, go support the "good" bl authors and ignore the "bad" ones.

But for the rest of us, here's my review because I finished the novel including the side story. I enjoyed it. I like both the main's personalities and their chemistry (it's better than some bls of this type I have seen tbh).
SPOILERS below:
They ended up together. Zhenya became pretty obsessed with Taekjoo actually. This loser has no friend and no one else beside Taekjoo lmao. Also he is younger than Taekjoo so eventually I feel like TJ treated him a a spoiled kid (my opinion). Zhenya didn't suffer consequences of raping and beating TJ up btw :/ but only a little bit when Taekjoo kept trying to escape from him and when TJ eventually did escaped. The side stories are pretty fluffy.

Uhm dear.. look up the definition of "horror fiction" and see what it entails, Wiki is a great source! It does include rape, abuse in the genre. And I'm comparing the action of reading contents that have horror factors to the action of reading contents that have rape btw. Also, I enjoyed this work not because it has rape in it, but like I said, the character dynamics, their personalities, then plot, the story pacing and lots of other factors that made up an enjoyable story for me. I understand rape is horrible and should not be tolerate. I felt horrible when the abuse happened to the character, and I felt happy when the character felt happy. I look at this work of fiction as a whole and consider how it made me feel as a whole to made my judgment. The characters are NOT REAL PEOPLE, so I overlooked and skimmed through the abuse which I did not enjoyed, in favor of other factors which I enjoyed. I don't have to like every single details about a work of fiction in order to enjoy it. You don't have to do the same as me. But idk why you guys trying to make it as though people who are just enjoying a work of fiction indicates something about their nature, and make it as though we're scums who love rape, actually.
