I think daejeong had some feelings of depression. I’m not entirely sure if he did plan to kill himself, but I know for sure the boss does something that basically ties him down in the end However, I think he did have thoughts of it but he didn’t do it ultimately.

Wait I love this detail so much. Because I know he said something about cutting his hair very short so it wouldn’t be a nuisance to him but ever since they stopped being with together he’s let it grow.
