i guess the problem to this interesting story is that mc yaps too much. like half of the thoughts and panels could be shortened and it wouldn't change much. i'm no author or a mangaka but for me as a reader it feels like that. too much thoughts, too much tooooo small actions lasting several panels which could take less space and time.
but i'm very glad they moved to the dinner finally we need mc asking questions and ml answering him (and us!!!!)

i feel so much rage and disgust at those people at jaheon's check-up, esp this guy with the lollipop, smeared the whole chapter for me. so it's pretty good 'cause it did its purpose! it really showed why jaheon acts like this and how and why he views his role as a sacrifice like that.
fr the absolute perversion of infantilising him whilst sexually priming him is the grossest form of grooming and it sends a chill down my spine… props to the author!!!!
wookyung might be (well okay he IS) a definition of a masochist and not quite right in the head with his desire for extreme pain but it doesn't mean he pretends to be in the type of mental and physical pain he doesn't like or likes what happened to him even if it involved so much of the pain he usually desires.
prosecutor gets emotional and grudgy here and. looks dumb with this "pretending" he mentions.
