I have been reading Omegaverse since College days and I was really facinated about the Genre especially the amazing relationship Alpha x Omega or Beta x Beta or Alpha x Beta etc. My generation of Omegaverse manga was Okairi Tadaima (PIONEER of green flag omegaverse).
I have nothing bad about the authors but the thing that I'm freaking upset about is the fact that we are normalizing these Tops (Alpha) as abusers and the fact that they have redemption archs and that abuse will never be justified and I do believe that some tops should just be dump and be alone forever, because their are some mistakes is truly unforgivable and some lines should not be cross.
I just freaking hate the premises that these stories are going and this is one of them, like dude is actually releasing pheromones when the child is literally in front of him. Like seriously how much of an asshole are you to involve a child.

I get this icky feeling seeing omegas subdued by pheromones and liking it even to a point the pheromones make them want to mate and get pregnant. But I think you guys are forgetting that Ian prob likes relationships that aren't influenced by pheromones.. He was induced into the mate -bonding by a n omega in heat. Most likely Noah had known that the had turned and yet still went to have sex w the alpha Ian.

I think you also missed my point in this whole thing and if you read the replies you will understand my point. My point is that Omegas (Bottom) get treated more horribly that Alphas (Tops) to the point that humiliation and mental torture is present, its not just a "I shove you so i'll shove you back so it's fair" type of situation it "Oh I'm this, so it's okay to do this and forgive me later".
This is also the fact "I change, forgive me and love me", which sometimes it roughly translate to "Forget the shits I've done and love me because I deserve it, because I change"
Well, if Noah had remained a Beta, he wouldn't have been induced by Ian's heat. If Noah hadn't forced Ian into a mate-bond there's no reason Ian would have gone to find him in the first place, unless Ian had a sudden change of heart and decided to search for Noah + the Noah he had known to be a beta. He induced Noah's heat because only then would Noah release his pheromones, or enough of it, to be detectable..Upon release of said pheromones, Ian sniffed Noah and said "Ah, I remember this (pheromones) scent", this sealing the deal on who his omega is, aside from the mate bond mark on Noah's neck, and the child that is about the age at the time of the rutting sex.

As a reader I can truly say that Keiki is one of the ideal Alpha with a little misguided communication that I ever read.
Keiki was not immature on the situation he is in. He did not take advantage or was arrogant (He was stating facts when talking to Riku's Parents about there company's circumstances). He went to Riku's parents as an Alpha wanting his Omega and asked for permission, he included the company because he knows that it was his last card. He did not do anything that would make Riku feel like he is less, it was more like a literary sense of being responsible in the situation that he put Riku into which was take care of him in place of his parents and as his fated mate (I think Riku just misunderstood Keiki's care as a form of him being weak, since he was raised as an Alpha).
Once Keiki figured out why Riku's attitude was not like Normal Omegas he adjusted and bowed his ehad to make sure Riku has support.
We all know that Omega's don't want to be a slave of their bodies and that what makes it so hard for them to live a life where they can be free. But let us not forget those Alphas (Good Alphas) who have the same circumstances as the Omegas where they can't control their instinct even if they try so hard (That instinct where every fiber of their being controls them). We can at least acknowledge the fact that the setting is animalistic so in one way or another and those good Alpha's even with good intentions will make mistakes and be controlled by that animalistic characteristics (Like what Keiki being possessive towards Riku and he bit Riku).
My point is. Keiki is not a bad Alpha
Facts! Do you know why Keiki felt that Riku was his mate right away? Was it strictly physical attraction and greed or something else? I mean once he felt Riku was his mate, he didn't hesitate one second and literally arranged everything to make him accept him. Must have been something special but it's hard to find that moment in the first chapters
No one can actually say how, it was more of the desire that Keiki wanted Riku the moment he saw him and does not want to let go
Yeah exactly. I am glad I wasn't the only feeling that way. I kinda wish the author developed this part a bit more. Maybe with a POV chapter at some point. Still, I love this story and I'll miss them a lot

The Seme is the definition of someone the Uke really needs. Someone who has compassion and Care towards the Uke and wants the best for the Uke. He is so self aware of the right and wrong and which path is they grey side that you would want him to multiply so he can help people in need.
Overall, it was a cliché stunt, but it was heartwarming due to the characters

I freaking love the dynamic of the Empress and Emperor. The relationship that they have just goes to show that Respect is much more important when maintaining a relationship.
I love Selena so much, she is such a smart, cool and Understanding woman. She did not judge his husband when she learned he had another child, she trusted and respected the Emperor about his decision and understood why he did that and in parallel he asked Selena for permission first before doing any decision and before any one say that "If he respected Selena he wouldn't have another child that is not her"; For anyone's information the author specifically highlighted 'Repect' for Selena and the Emperor's relationship and not the Romantic relationship.
The Emperor and Selena knows the obligation that came with the titles they have and they form a relationship base on respect for the title (The obligation that came with it) and both have consent, because they have respect on the opinion of one another.
I just find it funny that people tend to focus always on Romance when it comes to old settings. Name is very important in old age that is why people literally kill other people to always keep the name clean.

Yah, this is not your typical emperor who just bring random concubines without consulting their wife. There are a lot of manhwas like that who disregard royal status due to love. Like yeah, if you don't love your Empress you should still respect her position.
