He blamed Lewellyn for all his suffering bcuz it was the easiest thing to do. Harboring resentment in moments of helplessness is so easy, and resenting a weak link is even easier.
I don't even think that the connection these two have together is even love, they're way too bonded with each other, too deep with eachother for all that to be labeled simply under love.
And the author explained it so beautifully, like a scar that aches for no reason. Damn that shit brought tears to my eyes fr
