I skimmed this like years ago on a random Wednesday while kinda high, all i remember is feeling very angry

The poor kid tbh, lost his parents at the age of 9 almost got crushed to death by a stranger's body weight and got traumatized into awakening as an guide
His only connection to his deceased parents basically disappeared for 6 months while he was pushed into a system of grooming kids into becoming fighters/nurses
Like imagine after that whole event he was just forced into an interview after another, Photoshoots and all these gates and stranger adults he had to guide
He had no space to grieve his parents, or process in any way the hurt and horrors he had gone through, and noone to help him regulate his feelings or comfort him.
Not to mention his only guardian keeps putting this poor kid in traumatic events (albeit accidentally)
His only person in the whole world was basically dying every day infront of him, trauma-bonding himself to this grown ass man who is not responsible in any way
Like him saying "i like your weight on me" ??? It just sounds like him trying to make his truama positive or "romantic" just so he would be able to cope with it
Like the poor kid is 18 to 20 by the end of this (so still a lil kid), and him saying "oh its louder than I thought it would be, but as long as teacher enjoys it" like bro hates himself and doesn't even see himself as a person, his mind is so warped he genuinely believes his whole existence revolves around the esper. And all of that comes from the fact this poor boy wasn't counseled through his childhood truama or give the time to exist out of being a baby therapist.
And speaking of the esper, im sorry but hes such a groomer. Like that kid is 18 and you knew him since he was NINE Why is your grown ass even ENTERTAINING this sexual/romantic shit.
I know hes portrayed as naive and the world they live in has blurred the lines between guides and espers despite the age, but it gets to a point man
Point is, i feel bad for the kid. He grew in a world that completely broke him and made him feel so alone he had to romanticize his truama to survive.
I do LOVE the fighting scenes tho and the art, both are very epic.
