So now we'll have a time lapse of a few years, I'm sure and Jooin will cross paths with one or both of them again and we'll be left with an open ending. Typical.

I don't know at this point. Throughout this whole series, Cain felt like he was supposed to be from another story altogether and was used here instead because there was such backlash against Yahwi. Personally, I like Yahwi. Yes, he made some bad choices, but he's young and has some serious trauma and introspection to deal with. When you don't cope with your trauma and instead push it away, it can come out in uncontrollable ways. Jooin also was too immature to handle someone with trauma, or even love at all because he didn't know what he wanted, nor how to love himself. All in all, none of the characters knew how to compromise or what they wanted out of a relationship, how to maintain a healthy relationship, how to communicate, and how not to lose themselves in the process. While all this is very common, most people go through those emotions in high school when they start dating or when they have their first love. None of these three did, which allowed for an explosion of emotions.
While the growth for the characters was very realistic, and I originally thought that there would be a year or two break for Yawhi and Jooin to grown up and come together again with a stronger foundation, because the author had Cain present that ring, I don't feel that will be the case anymore. I believe wholeheartedly that Yawhi and Jooin could make it work as long as they have open communication, keep their boundaries and learn to compromise with each other, I don't think the author will go that route because of how much hate he got. He's not a toxic individual by any means. He's a good person who made bad choices because he could handle his fear and emotions. Cain, on the other hand, while full of love and compassion, was trying to leash Jooin and use his hurt over Yahwi to get his heart. That never works. Rebounds never last and Cain will always be someone that Jooin would be settling for, no matter how sweet he is. And they both would know that, which could lead to resentment from either or both down the line, or just a general dissatisfaction. I do hope he ends up with Yahwi if he ends up with anything at all, but the safest option for the writer is to leave it open ended.

Jahan is probably going to die. . .Right now is the perfect time for him to get kidnapped. I think that somehow it will end up being Taehan's fault and Hawon will blame him for it. Hell, I think it might drive him a little crazy, because that will be a big loss for him. I would be really surprised if Jahan survives this series. The moment I saw him, I knew he was a sacrificial lamb. One of those characters you can't really hate no matter if they might be annoying. The innocent type who needs to be protected, but always gets in trouble. And Hawan just left him alone during a time when he's become the biggest target to everyone around him, making Jahan the easiest collateral possible...
Haaaa~ I hope that Tangbang can keep him safe, but our little Angy has his limitations....also, I think Tangbang is hella sexy. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

After this last chapter, I was thinking that too. It is strange that he stays with Angy, but I think it might be because he has romantic or savior-like feelings for him. Moreso the latter. Which is another reason I think he's going to die. It will push Angy to choose a side and get completely involved. "I didn't do this for you. I did this for Jahan." Kind of thing, because he'll probably blame Hawan for his death, but he knows Jahan would want Hawan to live no matter what....

A lot of people seem to have forgotten that Maythan is from another world, this is a game scenario in which his character dies horrifically, and his main goal is to not get involved with any main characters of the game so as not to meet that same end. He's losing what little control he had rapidly and is trying to stay out of it but keeps getting forced into situations that put him together with someone of the main plot. All he wants is to live quietly and peacefully, because he has no idea what's going to happen to himself when and if he dies in this game.
Was she in love with the mother and is now in love with the prince because they look similar? Or is it something more insidious. Like she actually wants his face....like to possess his body or visage or something? So strange. I honestly don't know her motives now.
I think it's the latter because if she loved his mother, killing her would make no sense. I think she just wants his actual face for whatever reason (maybe for her sick son but not sure, just guessing)
I think rather than love it's more of an obsession born out of resentment and jealousy. Rooted in just plain evil thoughts. She prolly wants everything queen had, like only thing she doesn't have rn that previous queen had is her face... She has power, king, a son... Just not her face... It's real creepy n scary more you think about it. I mean That's what I think, it could be something else too
It could also be that she really wanted to have the mother's face, and maybe, (since she's into witchcraft or something,) the ritual failed. Instead, she killed her, and now she's after the prince's face because they share a resemblance(?)
Yahh makes sense since she doesn't want to kill him. She needs him alive for her plan to work ig
I was thinking along the lines of she was trying to use a love spell but the thing she's in league with tricked her and she used the wrong spell, killing the mother. I mean, she obviously wanted to be in power, but being the next empress was not a given. Most emperors take many concubines so the scheme for power doesn't make complete sense when she could be just as well off as a concubine. Killing the prince to ingratitude her son as crown prince is obvious, but wanting his face? I wondered if she was going to try and transfer her son's soul into the prince's body. Soul swap them and then kill her son's body. But then she went and said that she didn't care about prestige and rank, so now I'm wondering what obsession she has with the prince. It seems more like love at first sight in a dark way. I mean, all his wives end up dead within the year of marriage so the empress must be obsessed with him in that manner. She also keeps visiting him and isn't outright hostile with him in a manner that suggests hate or even jealousy. Everything she's doing seems as though she wants him and is isolating him to get just that. Killed his mother out of jealousy, married his father to get closer, killed his wives out of jealousy, forces him to fail so his father ignores him....but I dunno. This one has me stumped, which is rare. I'm excited to see what happens next. She certainly isn't happy about him leaving the palace, thats for sure. I also have wondered if his green eyes have something to do with it. He's the only one who has eyes that aren't brown thats human.
