Here’s a little theory of mine that is definitely flawed and broken, so bear with me.
Given the title and a lil research on Sisyphus, what if this whole story is a time loop and everyone time Jinwoo gets close to figuring out what’s going on, the loop resets.
We see in the beginning we start at Jinwoo’s house with an unidentified dead person and Guwon who just happens to show up. Next we see the two in the back of the truck on the way to town. We see this again for a second time in Ch 24. Each loop is slightly different, but start the same: Jinwoo in his house with a dead person (robber, his father, and now doc) and Guwoo.
This theory isn’t soundproof, but let’s think about it like this: Sisyphus is forced to repeat the same task of pushing a boulder up a mountain because he cheated death. For an undisclosed reason, humanity is cheating death and is now stuck in a time loop. Not sure how Jinwoo gets stuck in it, but the loop could explain why Guwoo has the mental capacity of a child (if you remember in chapter 1, he struggles to read Jinwoo’s diploma, but after a minute, he suddenly remembers how to read. This might suggest that he’s been in it so long, he’s just lost certain skills) but also knows how to run the town and keep everyone in check.
Still trying to figure out the hounds part, but this is all I got for now.

I think Jiwoo killed his dad and that memory is locked up. He may have PTSD given the headaches he has when he thinks of the past. But because he saw Guwon kill a man so casually and move on like it was nothing, he’s blaming him and is in denial about what he may have done. I am curious to know though if Jiwoo did kills his dad, what was the reason? The house was trashed when Guwoo showed up and Jiwoo was injured. Self defense?

I don’t think he puked because of the kiss. In fact I think he really likes Teach (given how he’s always around Teach and is really sensitive to what Teach does and reacts to things). What I think is happening is he’s one of the zombies but is an anomaly. This specific placements of the stitch tattoos on his neck and ankles might suggest this body was pieced together. Not only that but he is really innocent (almost as if when he came out of the rubble his life “started over”) and doesn’t remember his past. I think it’s more about him rather than him disliking/faking his feelings for Teach.

Now I will be the first one to say that both the alpha and omega are incredibly toxic people, and the beta really should have a third option, but we know it’s going to be one of the two. I know everybody is team Omega, but if I really had to be honest and pick one of the two to sympathize with, I’d sympathize with the alpha. I’m not saying that anything that he has done to the beta up to this point is justifiable, but when you have been strung along for years, it really does something to your mental. Not to mention the beta definitely agreed to be sex partners originally. He could have said no.
Not to mention, we know the beta doesn’t really love the omega, and I would even go as far as saying that the omega doesn’t love the beta in a sense of he loves him just to love him. The Omega let what the alpha say several years ago effective him. Instead of going to get help, he latches onto the beta to essentially heal what was broken many years ago not to mention you drugged the beta in order to start this farce of a romantic relationship.
They both definitely need help, and it’s pretty clear that the beta does not love the omega, and definitely loves the alpha, but they’re both toxic as hell.

The side characters are cute and all, but I’m ready to get back to the main couple and the main plot. I almost feel like I forgot what the main plot is about at this point.

This is just a theory, but the panel says that Yeowon needs to be happy or the penalty is death. We don’t actually know what happens if he does become happy. Maybe they could actually stay together.

Potato, for the love of God please tell them that you watched Dan use the spray. Please tell them that he wanted to test it himself after the shake incident. Don’t let Dan go down like this.

I’ll see yall in about 6 months so we can enjoy the beginning of the end together. Been following this for almost 10 years now and it’s a bitter sweet feeling to know that it’s coming to an end.

Spring 2024 is the equivalent to 300 years BUT we can just appreciate how many emotions we saw on Jay’s face in the last few scenes?? This is how he knows he fucked up. Ain’t ever seen him look so shocked before. He knows Shin is PISSED.

I have literally been following this manga for 10 years. I’m definitely invested, but phew I’m tired. I just want ever ship to have a happy ending and we call it a day at this point.
