I can’t be the only one feeling crazy that more people dislike Alex over Cole like Alex ain’t the one that cheated and had his duck sucked by soemone else, nor was he the one to quickly find a replacement because he felt the desire to be loved. All this is making me wonder if Cole even likes Alex, it feels like he’s just obsessed. Ik honestly so disappointed I feel so bad for Alex my dude got told not to cheat a million times and warned and threatened being shot in the head just for Cole to be the one to cheat first and this man was blushing at other guys flirting with him while being with Alex. And then the whole sperm thing, first off Cole could’ve just said I don’t like it I don’t want u to donate and Alex wouldn’t have disagreed but the problem is Cole pretends to be understanding then out right rejects which makes Alex realize Cole never intended to understand Alex in the first place, all that’s been going on in his mind had been “he can’t” and I’m like genuinely mad cause wtf is that. Should’ve stopped reading the moment I saw Brad and Cole kiss, sorry not sorry, I hate cheaters especially ones who see themselves in the right and CONTINUE to cheat

Okay so from what I got so far Shen chu (our MC) from ch 7 looks like those two bodies were his parents just speculation but it’s unknown what happened in his childhood but he ended up with a damaged/incomplete soul and was adopted by another family aka the the purple haired(his brother)’s family.

Time skip and now they’re students of the Zhou Lu academy which is basically a sect for cultivation and how to achieve immortality. The genre here is xianxia where people with spiritual roots (kinda like a class selection in an rpg) can determine their ability and how far they can move up the ladder in cultivation and spiritual roots follow the 5 elements such as metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, with others like ice and electricity as mutated ones which are more desirable and single spiritual roots are more rare than multiple ones meaning they cultivate faster, the whole point of this is just to reach the so called end either immortality or whatever they refer to as the last stage.

They usually have diff stages of leveling up with the basic 3 most of the time being qi refining, foundation building, and Jin Dan(golden core). Our Mc is level 1, his brother is lvl 2 and Zhao li (blue haired ML) is lvl 3 as an example. Now for some unknown reason it seems that zhao li has a certain connection with shen chus lost soul and from the flash back it seems that they’ve either met when they were young once and he had an impact on his development but gradually forgot signified by the butterfly. So when shen chu sees the new moon his mental state gets messed up usually referred to as inner demons in these genres like traumatic events and Zhao li is able to soothe him. They also just happened to draw the same ball in the entrance ceremony whatever and became roommates and that’s basically it for the first 7 chapters.
