She's a mage, so why not just accept the offer, draft a magic contract binding your life and the king and ask for immunity and protection in exchange of you working in the palace.

She is avoiding the slave route and looking in more to her perspective it is really terrifying to be once a slave then be a slave again. And she doesn't know how important mages are she only know that they are needed. Imagine you escaped a toxic relationship and developing trust issues on being in a relationship again. Oh and she misunderstand a lot of stuff so.............
And I was so speechless at first. I wasn't expecting the plot to turned out like that. phew! They both died and reincarnated in the present world. My poor heart! (︶︿︶) (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
No fudging way! Does it at least go into detail? And/or side stories??
The story isn't done yet. Ahjin forgives the ML after showing so much regrets, and kneeling before him. Ahjin later on asked to move out after Miss Kottnim died from illness, The ML provided him with a house, but the enemies kidnapped Ahjin, torture him and cutt of his two fingers and then sent ton the ML. The ML rescue Ahjin but they both died, he shielded Ahjin from the bullets. And the next, Ahjin woke up in the hospital- in the present/ modern world. He was confused, he has a mother and the ML become Ah Jin's mother secretary. The rest has yet to unfold.
