Hmm, I don't mind stories about abuse, but the whole story and characters lack punch. It kinda floats and then it ends. Not much emotional connection between the characters either. I just wished there's more oomph, like when you read Harada's stories. I still prefer her short stories though, compared to this one (like the one with the ghost :") )

I was super glad with the re-appearance of the little hissing black cat TT___TT That scene when Asahi threw the cat away really broke my heart. Him actually keeping it in the end is really symbollic.... Ah I'm just happy that Asahi and Masato are so happy....
