I get the feeling we can finally see the seme face consequences for his actions and not some bullshit "character development" just to be forgiven. It'd be so painful considering how soo young is so physically and emotionally attached to him now but I'm here for it lol.

Ending was very underwhelming. Its like everything just became pointless. Tian Hu's sacrifices, his efforts, death of merry's father, their fake marriage, they didn't gave it any justice. It would be better if they just went through the trial and put that woman in jail, they were so close too. I think the author tried to make it different but living an ordinary life while being able to do what they originally wanted after running away is just so unrealistic. That ending definitely felt like a dream. We all know its temporary freedom and his mom's gonna come after them again. Also, merry's character kinda feel empty like we didn't get to see much growth
