so i went through the novel and all and i had to drop it, the blatant racism, i mean come on that entire ethnic group is indian, or atleast one of the indian subcontinental countries and on top of that the story is so godamn fucked like i know you want a dark romance but there is no romance, it feels like sex is just a mechanical tool to work the story forward.i love you ishkan but got damn my pulse is rising like hell

to be honest, i started reading it as a way for comfort? i mean i am a medium fat girl , who is also quite tall, and i kinda related to shizuka, that ya know, i am fat, nothing to feel shit about it but then i wanted her to make this descision out of confidence not saying that oh i wanna do this because i wanna be more lovable, ike girl what? after that it just became a generic skinny, too kind for her own good girl and a gangsta but good heart type boy. it just lost its main spin.
