OK SO I HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS (having reread this multiple times throughout the years)
Main couple: I like their dynamic and honestly they’re so cute. But ofc they have their ups and downs, and their downs… DOWN if yk what I mean . I think I would’ve LOVED their relationship so much more if earlier on they established proper communication. But I can also understand why their communication was so shitty. First off ML, which is the red head, although he was the most annoying when it came to their communication nd shi, I also hella get why he was so bad at truly telling and trusting in Jaerim. I think the pendant played a HUUGE part in that, because it’s what he’s confided in and trusted for closure for all these years, except it wasn’t really closure it was just him burying his problems. I think he’d do good in some therapy but hey..
Side couples & characters: majority of the side couples were fine. I think the nerd nd red head r my fav. But I also don’t too much care for the side characters nd think some of them r a lil… well… eh!
THE SIDE CHARACTERS THOUGH… are an entirely diff story. For the most part I love love loveee a majority of the side characters, but the rest of them make me want to swan dive off of a building, into a pit of spikes and fire, while butt booty naked and oiled up in gasoline, all while being watched and electrocuted, 0.1 seconds before I hit the spikes and fall into the pit of fire. Like omg I cannot express how much I HATE dunno.

Overall, I don’t hate it, I don’t think I can EVER hate it. But there’s a lot of stuff that I think was either unnecessary or annoying or js like.. eugh … but it wasn’t baaaddddd.
It was wild how the story went from , “the pretty boy popular vice president likes the random unpopular uggo” to.. “his fucking family’s dead” “errr , angst !” “angst, angst, angst aaaanddd maybeeee, more angst !”

I wrote that, on Jaerim’s part of their shitty communication I think it was mostly him letting other people get into his head. Like I feel like if someone told this nigga to jump into a tank of sharks, he’d be like “omg no crazy!” And then go back and fucking do it bcs they tell him that they’re a shark expert.
I feel like he should’ve been MUCH more secure in his own relationship and his own self because for the most part, he was actually really good at bringing problems to the table, like he wasn’t afraid to speak his mind to ML, and I liked that bcs like COMMUNICATION yk??
