Am i the only one curious about jiyun’s story?

I hope the author writes something up for him.

Im theorizing here, but even if he accepts his own feelings, what will happen to him at the end if the year?

Perhaps a split personality for jiyun in the real world?

Okay, I’m going to focus on S3 because that is the most convoluted season of the three. I will quickly add that despite heavy dramatizations here and there in S1 and 2, they were pretty solid in their plot, character development, story building etc. I really did enjoy them a lot.

Now, S3 -_-

I mean it was fine. It was. If we get into the nitty gritty though. It was pretty bad by this author’s standards.
I know they’re capable of crafting a great story with incredibly complex characters, to a point where they’re almost chillingly real, but it seems that in this season the author kind of forgot who Cirrus was along with some others in her cast. For the first time in the story, I felt like I couldn’t understand their actions anymore. In some parts it almost didn’t feel like the characters I had grown to love in S1 and 2.
Also, more than a story, it felt like a collection of moments. Which can be masterfully executed if done well, but here it really just felt like simply that. Moments in their lives. Unresolved conflicts, and if resolved, in an unsatisfactory or underwhelming way. I wouldn’t really blame the author on this particularly. I think it’s more of a circumstance of the setting.

The author, in their beat attempt, tried to tie things up nicely, but it doesn’t work because at the end of the day, these are still high school kids. You don’t have everything figured out by 18. It would be foolish to think that everything in Cirrus’ and Skylar’s lives was resolved by the time they graduated highschool. I think that’s my biggest critique of this story: there wasn’t enough time to bring everything together because they are atuck at the high school age.

I think S3 would have worked much better if it had been a collection of moments of their ADULT lives.

I really did enjoy s1 and 2 so much, bringing tears to my eyes even. But it’s auch a shame that the growth and story of these characters was stumped by the setting in such a large way. Also, I am inclined to believe that the authors health and factors such as time and publishing pressures could have contributed to the plateu of this story.

But hey, at least we know Cirrus and Skylar are happy. Even if we don’t know the extent of it.

it felt like the author wanted this series to end there’s still a lot of loopholes to be honest.

Yeah this is a big factor into the decline in quality of the series. I feel like at the end the author was even fed up, possibly not even proud of their own work because of the strict no side stories. Usually when you love something you have created you have a hard time letting it go, but in this case, well we all know that anticlimactic ending.

This is such a shitty review have u not even read the Author’s Note?! She knew exactly where to end the story and how. Also the couple is living happily and pretty much fine she confirmed this in an Italian event too.

Actually you know what. Karma is served for that blonde bitch because she’s getting married to mr hwang. Despite his great qualities, he will never get over the female lead. Lmfao. Mr hwang you get to be with a double faced butch for all eternity while that double faced bitch gets a husband who’s heart not mind will never completely be yours. Lmfao

UGGGHH! I hate that blonde haired bitch so bad. At leas Taesoo's life is on the up now, but she quite literally ruined his professional career and even gave him relationship trauma. She was horribly abusive. Psychologically and verbally. I can’t believe she’s getting to live happily and marry rich on top of that. Jesus. She deserves karma for all the shit she gave Taesoo. Dude was treated as a slave by her. I genuinely can’t believe there won’t be any retribution for all her shit.

I don’t think Yoon is evil. That would be really one-dimensional writing that I don’t see this author flaking on. I think Yoon just represents differing opinions about safe-keeping Miyeon’s accident and past.

On one hand her manager wants her past to come to her naturally, slowly, and at a pace they’re both able to handle. I understand. There’s trauma in this situation for him too.

On the other hand, Yoon wants to spill all the beans so that they can keep moving forward in their friendship, lives, careers, etc. He wants to rip the bandaid off, probably because he wasn’t there to witness the injury itself. Something he shouldn’t be villainized for, honestly, because it’s understandable. He had his own life and career to pursue.

Manager dropped everything for Miyeon at the cost of his own autonomy.

Him and manager are complete opposites.

    elven June 24, 2025 12:44 am

That’s most likely, considering how Yoon and Miyeon didn’t interact for years, I believe. He didn’t know how much strength it took Miyeon to stand up again before and he certainly didn’t know how the manager handled Miyeon all those years. He wouldn’t know what it’s like.

But all things considered, we must still also keep in mind that there must be a reason why the Manager refuses Miyeon to be left alone with Yoon. He was probably a trigger or a key to a memory not so pleasant, I think.

Just popping in to say these men are WAYYY to beautiful to be 1960s hillbillies. Especially the white guy. White men in the midwest are nawt pretty at all. Just thought it was so funny that they’re drop dead gorgeous

Damn that was so much more heart shattering than I expected. He is totally and incandescently in love with her (Pride and Prejudice reference).

He said he walked into her trap willingly but even so, he is absolutely crushed by the news.

Something I really like is that she thought she was slick enough to get away with it, which honestly I don’t blame her. It’s going to be so difficult coming to terms with those slippery initial interactions of hers, which is exactly what she was trying to run away from. But the fact that he was able to put it all together just makes him all the more human.

I love love LOVE the writing of these characters. It’s so fleshed out that they feel like real people.

Can’t wait for the next season. Pls author don’t make our hearts hurt for too long, and don’t make his heart hurt for too pong either .

Ahhh

She’s questioning her surroundings, her circumstances, her unbalanced relationship with her manager and her passion for acting! How lovely! By the look of those last few panels, it seems she’s also starting to set boundaries with manager (which they desperately need!! As I’ve explained in the past how they have an unfortunate codependent relationship)

I like how the author is having her explore herself before anything else!

I’m excited for what’s to come.
