So all of those what happened in the past was just "vision" of his mother and his mother became a shaman so that the "vision" will never happen . His mother gave junil "second chance" so that both him and nokyoung will spend the rest of their life together since their destiny is intertwined (both bound to meet in the future).
So that means that this is Nokyoung's first life with junil and he never actually go back in time. If his mother didn't became a shaman, the vision will be the destine life for Nokyoung.
I don't know if this is the right term but it kinda reminds of the "butterfly effect" thing that people are talking on tiktok. (=・ω・=)
Nope this is still Nokyoung second life. His mum made it so that in his second life he won’t be lonely or repeat the same mistakes. If she hadn’t become a shaman that she wouldn’t have saved Junil. Junil would have died young in both lives and Nokyoung would be lonely. After all Junil was a big help to Nokyoung to get rid of all the antagonists. Nokyoung before he met Junil wasn’t powerful or had the money to stop them, not to mention he had a bad reputation cause of his ex boss.
Nokyoung would have still died in his first life regardless of his mum become a shaman or not, but he wouldn’t have Junil if she wasn’t a shaman. Like she said their destiny is intertwined together, their basically soulmates thanks to his mum’s interference with life.
