The only good thing so far in this extremely long arc of BASICALLY NOTHING chapters is Atsushi taking a blow from Akutagawa - and the only reason why I'm willing to relent is because all the shippers are crying their eyes out right now.
tbh... I don't really mind the entire concept of the return to past fix everything... because it was used in 55 minutes and that one was good actually. Because it's shown in very quick succession how everything can suck very very quickly. This is a dragged-out long-ass plot that has been going on for... how many YEARS might I ask? Exactly where... does one intend to end off at?
But... this gives off a very heavy feeling of... "idk what to do with this anymore so I'm just going to time travel to resolve all issues"
Because in 55 minutes it was clear that the whole entire plot was circled around time travel etc etc... here it just feel bumped in.
Like, we've gone through so many semantics... it feels so... cheapened. Like usually authors hide their last card, but Asagiri just keeps on putting card after card after card after card until it's not really a card and it feelings more like they're cheating...
