The guy is suffering, even he himself said that his legs are shaking, yet he was excited about the fact that he had endured all the pain even though he was perfectly healthy and athletic.

He was insecure because all of Jungwon's ex were his models. I don't actually remember Hyesung body shamed right on his face. Or that he was told being the way he is is horrible. This is his idea, Jungwon doesn't even understand why he is obsessed with losing weight or being his model.

Though, the guys in the first chapter were figuring out why Hyesung is not posted on Jungwon's profile. Didn't think they were body shaming per se, they were just discussing (though they were rude about it) what the reason might be.
And the whole body image in this case is less about the generation but culture, both Korean and fashion industry culture.
I understand that they didn't say it to his face, but people have no business commenting on someone's body even if the person is bot present

As a person who's been through all that to the point where it left me bedridden and sick for YEARS I can guarantee that commenting on people's appearance and/or flaws is never a good idea unless that person's asking for it
And I agree with you that culture has a lot to do with it, but I specifically said younger generations because of the social media

You cannot fit their standards unless you're drained of every last gram of fat in your body

I don't think that this author has the slightest idea about what the queer community is really like.
Gay people don't go around shouting about other gay people's private matters in public like that.
There is an unwritten law of secrecy among queer people that we mostly abide, even if we hate the person; especially when we live in conservative societies where being queer can be life threatening.
Idk if u mean about suo or kim mob, but i believe the latter was just for comedic effect and the fill in suo on all the blanks for the sake of the progressing the story.
As for the former, you can't put an entire group of people under a single personality bracket either...
Suo doesn't know much of the lgbtq community either, he has just figured out his feelings and sexuality for his geon so how can he adhere to hidden rules (that is if in case, what you're implying)
I understand what you're saying, but no, I wasn't specifically talking about the couple. I was talking about the whole picture of the queer community that is portrayed in this manhwa. Like the guy that saw them in the street and suddenly started yapping about Geon's sex life and his nickname in front of someone else. And I know that not all queer people are the same, but most of us respect these moral boundaries as we all face similar hardships as queers.
I'm not trying to hate on the author, I'm just trying to point out their mistake.
I see, I respect your thoughts. Honestly as a queer person myself I couldn't see these as blatant mistakes or so. It's just a comedy BL manhwa. And the authors so on the nose with 'Kim Mob' being the stirrer of the pot I found it funny. it's just one guy, airing out his business (to further the plot as well)...unless i forgot other people...
Weren't geon's friends (if u can call them that) covering for him tho?
Stories can include the people who fall out of the 'most' of the community that respect moral boundaries after all.
