currently in the manga, our princess is trying to prevent one of the love candidates from the original series from triggering a flag in his original backstory that possibly made him an icy yandere in the original story.
Unfortunately she realizes too late that even if she knows what's going to happen, she didnt realize there was more to the original backstory (aka her brother and other characters knowing about the potential kidnapping) and so she couldn't prevent her two magician friends from being kidnapped like in the original.
Also I think her brothers might be more protective of her in this life cause with how much the mc knows, people are speculating whether she can tell the future which means that instead of being a useless pawn, her cold dad/king might want to take advantage of her.
