Stopped reading cuz I don't like the whole, " they didn't actually kill or hate her, was just a misunderstanding", like how In her eyes the father hated her but in reality love her more than anything. I find that sort of thing pointless more specifically how this story does that trope. After reading a spoiler that explains everything, I do understand a lot more and it was a good reason/excuse (as idea author came up with) for the dad's actions but if the story doesn't hook you in what's the point of waiting for an explain that will take however long. I mean so much of this is misunderstanding and miscommunication after miscommunication, I could not get with it... No matter how hot the dad and male lead are.
I can get it if it’s not your cup of tea, but I think this comic is very different than most who use this trope. He deliberately pretended to be indifferent both so that his enemies would be less interested in her, and so that when he inevitably died, she wouldn’t be miserable. He was also dealing with tremendous guilt and the effects of the curse, so it’s understandable how he reached that flawed conclusion. They are both natural introverts and bad at communicating clearly. It’s not like he did it for shits and giggles (like how the families usually do it)
And I totally get that, I think what the author does later to make sense of everything is good. But this sort of misunderstanding thing in the beginning does not want to make me keep reading despite knowing it will probably be better. It has been a while since I've read this, it wasn't just a misunderstandings I just think there were certain things I didn't like romance or writing wise as well.
This shit better be fuckin hilarious cuz the blond Eunyang or w.e is ridiculous. How is he gonna be mad when he stole MC wallet/ all his money that MC was gonna use for his dorm life. Not that he got to apply for dorm cuz the blond guy stabbed him. Idc about blond guy backstory his arrogance is wild. They could have still hated each other and not to say the stealing writing wise is bad and all the other crappy stuff that happens in those first 5 chapters. Maybe hell apologize later but idc cuz it's just such a crappy way to start re-add anything.
Apparently, I am only one who thinks like this tho lol. I am still gonna give a chance cuz there are lots of chapters and I'm sure this will get better. I just don't like it when authors do this kinda thing can really put me off.

Lol, me too. I even texted my friend who recommended this several times because Eunyung shitty act i the earlier chapter.
But, as times go on, I realized, he STILL a child who never have a good role model, he's a runaway teen who never met a proper adult.
He's learning to be an adult now, he's not there yet, but he's improving everytime.
Ur not the only one honestly he was annoying me tf out at the start too but then i kept reading and he grew on me and he also has had a bit of a character development
edit: after reading all recent chapters I can say I do greatly enjoy this manhwa, very rarely does literature make me cry. I still feel the same on those first five chapters and sometimes the author does things that make me go like Eh? But it's not bad and I don't feel like writing a whole other essay so I'm just going to simply say that this is an excellent read. I am really glad I kept reading this and I'm happy I'm not the only person that was frustrated with Eunyung in the beginning. He is best boy and I don't know why I'm forgetting her name despite the fact that I just finished reading, but ghost girl is bestie.
Same he still does frustrating things from time to time but he clearly has a lot to learn emotion-wise. He literally didn't have a single person to teach him things that are common sense to others. Example of this is one MC is sick and he is surprised that people need to get taken care of when they're sick.

I'm at chapter 9, did black hair guy r@pe red hair guy or was that one of their dreams? Because I don't see why the author would go out of their way to show the red hair guy doesn't want to bottom. He specifically says this and during said SA, red hair guy is constantly saying that he doesn't want to have sex. I find it weird that the author would go for this because it would just make the SA worse. It's even worse if you think about how black hair guys specifically bumped into red hair guy. So that he could take red-haired guy home
First 3 chapters are impossible to get through and I would never recommend this to anyone but sheer curiosity is pushing me throw this. Didn't think I would find a legit bl worse then jinx but here we are... I also have to point out part of the reason why I find this so uncomfortable and inherently wrong, is how they romanticize prison rape, more specifically male prison rape. Rape isn't anything new if you read BL but this feels especially irksome and insensitive. However, I'm already a degenerate of human being and I'm just curious as to where the author is going to go with this ridiculousness.

Honestly, I hate the bottom/ jiwook in beginning, still don't live him but not as bad as before I guess. Sorry if I'm crazy for saying this but I hate the author for making the top Sa the bottom. If you read up to more recent chapters you see that he would never do that and although he is obsessed with him, it is my personal belief that he just wouldn't do that. It's so weird it's like the author wanted to do some crazy prisoner thing but then was like nah man never mind. Especially because the bottom gets gang SA multiple times and is extremely traumatized by that. However, the first person to do that to him is technically the top or male lead. Like kidnapping is horrible enough I don't know why they decided to add SA. I have to like forget just to keep reading because if I'm being totally honest, I love the character growth of the male lead/top. It just all feels like a waste because there are so many interesting things that I don't often find in other BL or just romance. For example, the person who got SA'ed actually getting therapy and the obsessive top Actually wanting to treat the bottom better in change. He is totally obsessed yes but when was the last time we ever heard a top say, "I want you to own me". That's usually this s*** that the top wants the bottom to say. He is unhealthy but I a genuinely do believe that he does love him. I think the author is just retarded a lot of the time.
Main thing I don't like about this is top attitude. I don't like the trope where a character keeps something hidden to protect someone else but keeping that thing hidden doesn't really change anything. Like whether the person they were protecting new or not, it didn't really matter a change anything. All I did was cause frustration and misunderstandings, like just tell him so that he's not so untrusting. You already know something dumb is going to happen in the future or somebody gets hurt because the top wouldn't just tell the bottom.
I like this but I feel like the drunk sex didn't really suit this manhwa, or at least how they went about the drunk sex trope for there first time. I would have rather the bottom confront the top about him avoiding and he tells him why. Then they kiss or both have flushed faces, and talk about it over drinks and then do the deed. You still have the same trope in the same outcome but have way more build up. I feel like it's a waste for him to just show up drunk, it takes away from the tops emotions in my opinion. Otherwise, I love how the author handled the top during the drunk sex. What I mean by that is how the top stopped multiple times when he felt the bottom would be uncomfortable or in pain.
But I still very much so enjoy this story and the characters.
I think this is a good manhwa, it's just that the pacing and romance pacing is kind of bad. I also dislike how they handled the grand duchess's death. I feel like it should have been way more emotional idk spent more time dealing with grief. Instead of jumping right into the "arranged marriage" living trope. This isn't what's happening but it's basically what happens in that trope and I don't really have a problem with that trope. Also what do you mean by romance problems, I feel like we're just giving a lot of romantic/embarrassing moments instead of heartfelt you know falling for one another. But that's just my personal taste and if I were to elaborate further, this would become a short story.
Don't really care if that count as spoiler cuz waste of a good story and art... From what I remember they aren't blood related if I'm wrong they half sibling or somethin. Either way sibling romance are always a stupid waste of time.
Also this would have been fine if they grew up separately , didn't know who each other were when they would interact and got closer. So then it would also be kind of like a mysterious thing and you know if they just didn't refer to each other's brother and sister. I'm pretty sure even when they're both younger, they know they're not blood related. And I get why would make sense that they would refer to each other as brother and sister but it's still just not a good choice on the writers part.
