hate the dude but you gotta give credit where it’s due. he perfectly planned everything beforehand to his favor and was always a step ahead. he nearly has no weaknesses and was willing to shed any amount of blood to get what he wants, a pretty remarkable villian, really. if it weren’t for his weak heart or the mom interfering, i feel like he wouldn’t have lost and died and would have been nearly unstoppable :P
Pretty good read and amazing MC growth. Hwan’s still a stubborn headed guy but he no longer is that hot headed impulsive dude from ch1. he’s a bit more patient and more level headed, stronger mentally and physically, and values the human lives around him more. we love to see it
also this a first for me to see a series where the author continues the season with a prequel? backstory with a 17 yr old hwan? niceeee
y’all, don’t be hating too much on the current niro; yes he’s kinda letting his hateful emotions consume him & hurting close friends but he DOES have every right to be mad and to want to lash out, dont invalidate his feelings. take into account the unfair sht he’s been through and how unbelievably prejudice and corrupt his society is. seeing this side of niro also makes him more believable and real as a character i feel, author is walking on ice with this kind of character development but still doing a good job.
i do hope he gets a grip soon and can approach his dream of becoming shai with a better attitude/mindset.
the way he said if he were to get married, he wanted it to be with someone he loves, then glances at pauliana and he excitedly talks abt his noona’s greatest feats at that dinner event and tried to stand up for her countless times??!?
it’s a shame he’s kinda brother zoned, but his respect and love for his noona is too fucking cute ughhh <3

the orange long haired guy is cool, but overall the story and all it’s elements are too cheesy. peeped the comments and you get that cheesy happy ending and the FL and ML even have a baby? hard pass sorry
