Hmm, I was reading the raws and it give a reason why. He is threatened that he has to pay back an absurd amount of money. And was told that if he does not pay back with his body that Nozomi would have to in his place.
It was also (i am not 100%) sure, But he also didn't want to rely on his father or something.

Honestly, I think the colleague was just lying to himself. He knew he was starting to see Tomohisa in that way and even if he never thought "I definitely wanna get with Tomohisa" he knew it in the back of his mind that it was a possibility for him.
That may be true and I also agree that he was starting to see him in a different way, but I don't think this particular act was premeditated--as in he planned to get him drunk to take advantage.
But all in all, I don't think he's a bad guy (yet) and that all his actions (convincing Tomohisa to leave Hide and speaking to Hide) is in good intention to help out a friend out of a constant sad state (in his mind at least).
If he pursues a relationship with Tomohisa, then he's clearly not thinking right and what's good for his friend--only what he wants.

Oh no, I agree. I didn't mean that he had that event in mind, just that I think he knew in the back of his mind he would make a pass at Tomohisa if the right opportunity came around. Based on his actions and his perceptiveness, he knew his feelings. But what he doesn't know is what Tomohisa's boyfriend is actually like. He has only seen bad parts of their relationship and from his point of view he thinks Tomohisa is in a bad relationship. So, it doesn't help in the sense that he probably feels justified in trying to break them apart. Regardless, he is in the wrong meddling in somebody else's relationship and he isn't thinking of Tomohisa at all as I see it. But I'm also hoping Hide follows him to Germany!
