Alex is just like the fuck bois I've dealt with and been victim too in my own life and sometimes I forget he's not real and can't truly hate him for being so horrible to DG who doesn't know any better and doesn't know his self worth. In real life I'd hope DG's friend would some how find out about his and Alex's relationship and convince him to leave because Alex is the kind of guy who would emotionally destroy you and not care.

yeah i had the similar issue tho returned the favor in a way enough. It is really hard to swallow his actions when you think it in real life situation as you know this will probably reach a happy end if the author is not planning to torture us.
Really those kinds of people are easy to spot most of the time since they're too quick to trying to charm and pressuring you somehow. Best medicine is usually even if you're interested letting them know they're sh*t but at the moment you're just selfish enough to mind your own fun. Also it's nice to remind them you have no goals to be nice person. This sinks bad when they think they tricked you and they notice the only pride they left is to make you believe they're not. As long as you don't change your attitude you are winner. To me they tried to chase me (some still do), still got them blocked. But it's good to remember people don't change easily. Even if they're obsessed you dunno who's gonna be the next.

no it's fine. admittedly I am confused as to what you actually wrote but I think I got the gist of it. I just had to have a mini rant because while I really love the art work here, I've dealt with too many Alex's in my life to be sympathetic to their usually selfish and small man self esteem where if they're hurt they resort to hurting others far worse to feel in control. It's a real lack of maturity regardless of how "adult" like they are for their sexual and life experiences. Plus with how mangakas always make the badboy have a sob story, it just so annoying that people are never held accountable for their actions, something that despite is fictional is very very real in relationships between someone like DJ and Alex in real life.

honestly with the direction of this mangaka i was actually really annoyed by their return to the traditional yaoi trope in Chapter 8. Rapist gains pity and affection of the one they raped because they have a sob story that's doesn't exactly equate to why they turned out to be a shit human who inflicts harm on to others but eh they have to be a good guy afterall.... And the mangaka was doing so well too really fucking with the norms in the last chapters. sigh

it's likely that Giju gave his sister that taser in the likely even that their father would do something unfortunate as we've witnessed. It's heartbreaking to think for years that Giju was probably sexually abused as well as raped by not only his father but by multiple men, and has resigned himself to just not caring anymore how he should feel towards intimacy (Sex) from his partners as well as the people he encounters in his day to day. Despite not being blood related, his sister is the only solace that he has and he truly treasures her. It will be sad to see Giju open up to Young-do and know that their relationship will end in tragedy as the author's foreshadowed. Not many chapters and already the character development here is quite good.

I never understand why tropes with the childhood friends tend always to rely on the virginal naive uke, and suave seme who's manipulating things behind the scenes to get what he wants. It actually annoys me how the seme says they've always loved their counterpart but have done literally nothing about for it years. Just gone on and lived their lives slept with others and dated other people and then have the nerve to be jealous if the uke even has so much as a single person show them interest other than them. Especially when they're made fun of for being a virgin like done so here like it makes as if there is something wrong with them. I don't know why but it really irks me. Not slut shaming but the whole you deflowered me/ or raped me first so it must be love is so tedious. Maybe it's the reliance of the uke having to be freshly picked by the seme, like there's no reason the uke could find love besides that offered by the seme first. Being a virgin is cool too, just don't understand why all virgin ukes have to have their playboy seme counterparts. I mean I was right there with Jin when he questioned Shigaki's love, as up until now Shigaki had years to express this and only does so after taking advantage of a situation that he know's more or so benefits him. The sex was good but really "sex" appeal...

ahahaha. its really just typical of japanese manga tho. read every shoujo or any other genre. unrealistic and they always have the same vibe tbh. some readers just enjoy the flow while some have critical way of thinking towards the story. japanese romance manga is into "dreamy" stuffs ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ and go along with the things that is popular with "majority".
damn the first time reading a story where the uke completely acknowledges they've fallen for a playboy and know the consequences will end badly. The seme is definitely going to cheat on him likely in the future you can just tell ( his i just have charm and go with the flow of being a homewrecker excuse nailed that; he takes pride in it as you can see) and that really sucks I REALLY hate the whole I love you and I continue to flaunt sleeping with other people in front of you. It might be different because the uke feelings were unknown but even had they been it highlights you really enjoy pleasure and momentary gratification. When you're not in a committed relationship you can sleep with anyone you want, but it somehow cheapens your feelings for the other party when later you reveal said feelings and had been pursuing others the entire time in front of your love interest's face with not even a hint of tactfulness. It really makes the other party feel uncertain about your definition of intimacy and especially how you'll be the sort to want be able have your cake and eat it too, meaning be a man of habit and enjoy the pleasure you've received till now. Actually have seen friends in similar situations and it always ends badly.
Oh! You might be right, but I interpreted it differently. Well, I agree with most of what you say - I never like it in stories where the person is having flings right in front of the person they're supposed to be in love with. What I interpreted differently was that he could see it would end badly. He definitely thought that at first, but I thought that afterwards, although he hadn't built up the trust YET, he was willing to believe the other guy's sincerity and that trust might be built in the future. (And I felt that the line he said about not trusting him forever was more of a cheeky throwaway thought meaning that he intended to keep him by his side wooing him for life.) Maybe that was optimistic of me, but it makes me happier to go with an "it'll all turn out alright" interpretation, hehe.
I kinda agree with you there lol it just shows how much of a good guy (and how whipped he is for his love sighhh) the uke is ( ̄∇ ̄") Tho we all know the seme's a good for nothing brat that'll probably cheat on the uke in the future. Can we at least I wanna see the seme gets dumped by the uke or smth sighhh ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
