Hi! I'm a novel reader, codename Anastasia has a lot of non consensual content and if you are looking for romance you won't get any. Zhenya definitely develops romantic feelings and Taekjoo will too but it takes a while to get to that point. Nameless star, the second novel which I've also read is much more romantic and they do love eachother a lot. Codename Anastasia is very good but it's definitely more of a psychological thing than a romantic one. There isn't any manipulation though, it's more like zhenya likes taekjoo a lot and so takes him back to his house and assaults him. You've been warned!

I really like their dynamic, like how when Gozu is talking about how horrible the demon king is to make Kiriki believe what Eve said about being the demon king was a lie, eve isn't offended at all and he doesn't think for a second Gozu means anything he says. He's just upset he's made Gozu so worried. And I love chapters like this where Kiriki goes "he shouldn't die he's kind" and eve says "okay? He isn't Gozu though". I love when they're selfish about eachother!!!
aw what? The end ☹? This story really cleared itself up and I ended up liking it in the last few chapters though that's probably because I can't remember what happened in the first few chapters at all... but the character development in this was really good, I hope if the author has more works like this in the future they just skip out the horrible bit at the start!!
