Ah no. It is indeed an act of guiding, but what he is doing as of the moment is not for the purpose of guideship. It's just him. This is the reason why this chapter holds great significance in his development (negative or positive ig...) throughout the series.

I get where he’s coming from tho. When someone very very very close to me passed away my crush asked why I was missing from school for so many days and if I was okay and just blah blah blah, I got so pissed and went off on him. IDK it just made me mad for some reason like- get out of my face I’m already overwhelmed. But I apologized and he understood so we’re good now. (Not together tho )
