I just can’t get into dom and sub stuff like this because of the dynamics between the characters. I feel like most of the times these dark romances don’t have consent between the characters(but ig that’s what makes it dark). But still, I don’t like seeing the boytoy guy just getting subjected to the whims of the mom and the daughter(and the weird gardener too) just because his survival depends on them. I would hate to see this go into the coercion route where he gets treated like shit just to be able to stay in the house to survive(it probably is gonna go this way tho…), it’s just like a nasty feeling. I’m glad that the mc doesn’t discriminate and does it to her friend too but I would’ve liked a story where the guy is like also rich and not exploited. I know this isn’t supposed be like a happy innocent romance but like man why you gotta treat poor people like that. like I will never be on a rich persons side.
