Yeah, in real life is you are asexual, you are, thats all. Its the same as being gay, bi, hetero. In this case, he can feel romantic feelings but not atracted in a sexual way or pleasure. But its yaoi so...I would like the author to be brave and to have the risk to show how asexuality works in real life, how a relationship could be in that situation.

"in real life" that's not what i've heard. there are plenty of demisexual people out there. And honestly being asexual wouldn't mean that you don't or can't enjoy sexual contact, just not in the same way as someone from the norm. Because he can ejaculate. Even those who have a normal sex drive don't always have a high or low libido. And what annoys me is that the main character is just being selfish. His partner understands his situation and is like ok well at least try something with me. We don't have go into sexual penetration, we can try doing things in different ways. The MC says that he's tried, but many people who have a normal sex drive aren't that stimulated by masturbation either, but are extremely sensitive when someone else touches them. It's obvious that the mc hasn't actually tried having sex with someone he actually liked, so I think he's just got to get over his own insecurities. I mean when his partner went down on him he was obviously uncomfortable since he previously didn't open up to him about his condition. （￣へ￣）you gotta try, if it doesn't work out then that's just that.
Being asexual would mean many things. Its only a tag. Im kind of asexual, in my case Ive never being interested in sex so I have never the need of try it. I have never been interested in romance either so Ive never had conflicts like MC have, its not a problem to me. But I know asexuals who fall inloved and go out with people and have sex like a obligation because they love their partners but dont like sex, its a fact, they dont have a trauma or anything. There could be a phisical reaction like eyaculation but not find it pleasureable. Its complex to explain, but its the same for example if you are straight and you say well, if I dont try to do it gay how i know im straight? you know it, thats all. If you are demisexual you will know if you fall for someone and you start to feel the desire to get intimate with that person. There so many possibilities.
Im agree on what you say about let know Luke about his sexuality before going out with him but i guess he though that he not being able to enjoy sex wouldnt be a problem to Luke. Well thats all assumptions, we dont know much about the character and its fiction so..
