Since the author wrote some shonen-ai before AnY, I think the shonen ai subtext in this story is intentional (and I'm loving every bit of it)

...I dont understand what you're trying to say ...what's the point of what ? I also dont buy the theory of them being fully related but it is plausible.I doubt the author will put that off as it would complicate things for no reasons but she could get away with it.
