Torn between 2.5 star and 2 but I'll go with 2.5
Okay there's things I like and definitely don't like in this story. I feel chatty right now so I'll list em ^.^
I'll start with the former
1. I love Jaerim. He's amazing as a mc, very strong willed, a lil naive but I believe that's part of his charms.
2 . The author got really into the pretty privilege and bullying aspect. Which was done pretty well.
3 . The author/artist (idk man) didn't make Jaerim look pretty. ( not calling him ugly ) I'm just happy that the author didn't draw him pretty as hell while his plot told us otherwise (like *cough* some).
Okay that's it for the good stuff. *Cracks knuckles* Now let's get into the sketchy bits. // TW: r4pe and Ed FOR POINT 4 and 5
1 . As much as I loved Yuri and Jaerim's gradual growth, the ending and the middle part of the plot felt wacky. (Maybe it was due to random ass couples showing up and then also leaving suddenly?)
2 . Also what the heck was up with those side couples???? Like sir you got some very interesting characters that have so much potential but you can't just bring them in suddenly and then without any or much growth make them kiss and then be off with em???
3 . What was up with Dunno and that dude? Like what happened with them? Tell me more???? Something??? Why'd we get no clarity? And Yumin and that red haired dude, I did not like how easily Yumin just FORGAVE HIM????LIKE WHAT???
4 . Now Aerack and the blondie. This bothered me. Like the author got so much potential with the characters and has set good backstory but then just covers it up with shallow stuff and forgets about it??? Like what about their trauma? What about his eating disorder?? Idk??? Also what the fuck was that last chapter??? The sudden furry shit just gave me whiplash.
5 . Now the my main issue... Are we all just going to act like Jaerim did not get assaulted?? Like he literally got raped and beaten up and filmed and then still everyone literally EVERYONE without missing a beat decided to make it about themselves??? And how was Jaerim even okay with all that like he was all fine the next morning and said 'hi' to the assaulter??? Excuse me??? Okay I know the feelings regarding that situation were very very complicated, given the bully and the assaulter's motive and Yuri's trauma. So fine I'll take it as 'we humans are selfish creatures that prioritize themselves over everyone' and (for the sake of it) look over it but BUT HOW THE HELL DID JAERIM MOVE ON FROM THAT TRAUMATIC INCIDENT SO FAST???

Okay I'm rambling at this point. Apologies, I'm just pissed at the whiplash this story gave me but I don't hate this or the author. This manhwa had its moments ngl (but then got lost like way into a deep jungle) but I'm not seeing many people point these issues out with it and I just want to know if I interpreted it wrong or nah.
