I have a question about ch 61, where we learned that Hyun seems to be immune- I get that we saw him die many times from other fatal injuries, but I’m a little confused about what happened the first time, in the broadcast room? He was in the process of “dying” from a bite, but then the game reset. Did he die from blood loss and that’s why Youngwon got sent back to the beginning? Or did it reset bc Youngwon got attacked/killed by other zombies?

i thought he died bc he tried to kill himself? was it a bite? i thought it was a self inflicted injury but i might be wrong tbh

Oh hmm I’m also not sure, I guess I was just assuming it was a bite, since Youngwon also seemed to think he was going to turn into a zombie

If I remember it right Hohyun did beg for Youngwon to kill him before he mutate into a zombie so he can die as a human being in the broadcasting room.

Novel and manhwa never gave a clear reason as to why all of this time looping shenanigans ever happens in the first place, it was all just a speculation from a character perspective at best. In the novel, it was implied that Hohyun had always been immune to the virus, and when he died the timeline reset because he alone was the only cure for the virus, so he absolutely must survive in order for the looping to end. In this sense, Hohyun speculation about comparing this situation to a game kinda make sense because his survival was the wincon.

Plus the manhwa took the liberty to change some minor details from the novel, but the end results was still the same as in the novel so it's all good in the end.

Gotcha, that’s really helpful to know (and not just me totally misunderstanding something lol) - thanks for taking the time to explain!!

The author portrays both “star-crossed lovers” and “soulmates” SO beautifully. I’m so happy for them, and also honestly kind of awed by the depth of their bond

Thank you to the translator for uploading so many chapters at once, I had a great time binging the whole season!! I like getting to see both their perspectives. He’s already in so deep

“Prefers to keep a bit more distance” with his partners, also holds him while he sleeps

Love Jaewon’s thoughts on the problems that come with blurring the boundaries between right and wrong, purely to take advantage of people even in real life that’s something we need to stay watchful of, now more than ever

When he said having sex isn’t a duty saying something so true so matter-of-factly, felt good to read that

I know it’s taking them a long time to figure things out, but tbh I’ve weirdly been really enjoying this- I feel like it’s kinda rare to see a story with this kind of slow-burn day-to-day interaction that shows how much they are really strongly gravitating towards one another. So even though nothing’s been defined yet, I’m just having fun watching them together I guess

This is so well done what an endearingly awkward and kind dynamic. This chapter made me cry I think bc I could really feel how tenderly they truly see and worry for one another
