Not really loving the way that “being kind” is talked about here- maybe it’s difficult to capture what Yeol means and “kind” is the closest, but not really a fan of this presumption that your appearance necessary says anything about your personality, as if a “flashy” person is unlikely to be kind. I mean I know everyone has a right to their own “type”, and Yeol isn’t basing things only on looks, but something about the way this is being discussed in the latest chapter feels odd.

Ahahaha the longer this goes the stranger it gets! I’m having a hard time understanding how Bunny thinks - she seems to have a very particular philosophy about dating, and I thought I could respect that, but probably at some point she needs to be more clear about her feelings and not date just for the sake of dating.

Not sure if this is the author’s intention, but my takeaway from the latest chapter is that mooyi has struggled with mental health for quite some time, and that the author is portraying some of the (sometimes paradoxical) complexity of how that can affect social relationships. I was really struck by the actress’s last statement, since it contrasts with how much mooyi seems to be hiding how much he is struggling (maybe so that others won’t worry about him).
I am glad that he is finding some happiness with gong yoo il but I hope they are able to address his struggles more directly later on- talking about mental health is so important!!
Just binged the whole thing for the first time, and thought the author did such an incredible job of capturing the tenderness and chemistry in their relationship.. rarely have I felt so emotionally invested, I love it ╥﹏╥
