They are technically divorced for financial reasons I think or it has something to do with his debt but he promised her that they’d get married again after it’s all cleared up and that’s what she’s holding onto because she thinks when they get remarried it’ll be like before when they were still in love and happy but she doesn’t realize she’s already fallen out of love with him

I think it’s very interesting to see how she’s resigned herself from her relationship with him. She’s truly only doing what she thinks she HAS to do, almost like a mother. She does his laundry, cooks his food, provides him with money, and works multiple jobs; but you can tell by how she thinks and treats him that it’s not out of love. I feel like she already knows that there’s nothing left of their relationship, but she’s just too scared of change because she’s been doing this for so long. I really hope when she finds out that he’s been cheating on her she doesn’t turn into a sniveling mess because right now she seems more resilient than that.
