I rlly enjoy that Yuji is the "side character" as the main character. Gives Yuji himself more depth, especially since he isn't overpowered since the beginning and slowly builds it up.
Also love the aspect that, even tho Yuji is the MC he isn't always the most important. Highlights the other characters really well
I read the novel before and I know how lovley they both get, but seeing it in the Manhwa is a different kind of wanting-to-kms-out-of-jelousy

I rlly do believe that Rudiger loved Luca, but js couldn't understand it. Rudiger never received any kind of parental love, thus leading to him thinking a normal father-son relationship is when no feelings are involved.
Don't forget he grew up with a brother who got spoiled rotten and a father who obsessed over his wife. He probably thought that extreme display was the only way to express love. So in his mind he couldn't love Luca because he couldn't spoil him since he needed to be raised to be a viable heir to the family. Ironically, raising him to be self-sufficient is a much healthier form of love then spoiling (until you fuck it up by telling the kid you don't love them
