But when time running he starts to be more nice because he probably really likes Azusa. First he wanted to break him but now it's look like he wants just protect him in his own "stupid" way. I don't know if Karino understands his feelings because it's look like he isn't. But of course in real life this can't work - if you hurt someone usually he doesn't forgive easily and not something like Karino did. But this is psychological manga and their reality isn't "ours reality" if you understand. So yes Karino was asshole but now he's the only person to who can Azusa trust. Because Karino's selfish feelings (he wants Azusa for himself) he doesn't want to share with someone and in this point of view is good in this kind of situation.
