How bloody annoying when you are trying to read your fav little story, and you bombarded with a promo from something entirely different. Especially when its in between chapters and cutting short the chapters speech. Thanks to that I didn't enjoy this chapter at all.

You are reading it for Free. If you read it for free the 'promotion' of the story is not for you. You're not the target audience. You read here cause you're also broke to pay for the legal sites. I blame the dragon woman for all his now misery. She sent his wife away and is so hateful towards him. This causes him to take his anger out on the innocent. Did she send his wife away out of spite because her husband looks after him and takes up all his time? Either way in my opinion she is to blame for the slaughter of innocent people.
Send his wife away!? U mean freed the poor human and gave a chance to live her life, that monster is not a victim

If anything, Bella is a lot more lenient with him despite hating him. Mikael could kill her and her family if he ever felt like it- hell he’s already killed a dragon elder in the past and Bella had to watch without being able to do anything as Edward was forced to be his servant when he was still too young. Sure it seems fine now and Edward wants to support him but from Bella’s pov, someone dear to her had his freedom stripped away from him and had to grow up caretaking for a ticking timebomb. Kudos to Bella for continuing to be amicable with Mikael all this time she deserves to be angry
On a fundamental level, the way Mikael thinks and operates is different to everyone else. Mary and him were in love once while they were still getting to know eachother but I think Mary realized that it wouldn’t work because their values are so different. So completely fair of her to be upset that he’s going on murdering sprees as a way to vent- (very specifically humans who she’s already pleaded to him to not do). Have fun Mary I hope you enjoy your independence (she becomes famous in the future I think that separation really helped her out)
He’s miserable because he can’t stop being so dependent on others and only wants to be pampered (very literally*- he felt jealous towards Edward’s kid and mentioned he would’ve killed them if he had the chance to do it quietly despite ALREADY having Edward at his beck and call, felt happy that the human prince Mary was friendly with died, how he wants so desperately to be like Bella’s son, and the way he so easily inserted himself in the real Mikael’s family in this recent chapter).
To be fair, it’s understandable to want to be loved by others but it feels like Mikael is controlled by that want- I would feel more bad for him but most of his relationships feel like a cuckoo bird going from nest to nest. He isn’t a baby anymore- He may still act like a kid but if you think about it, he grew up alongside Edward-Old-Man. He learned that it gets people to treat him sweetly so he’s continuing to do so without change
aH not that he’s a villain or like- the evil of all evils. He’s an interesting character for sure

PREACH!!!! A lot of readers seem to be more lenient about forgiving Michaels behavior when in reality a lot of the anger and resentment these characters feel is very realistic and justified.

She isnt exactly spoiled. The reason she appeared that way is because everyone is trying to live gentleman/lady like standards while she can help but still act like her previous life still being free spirited..other wise she would be like her blond friend who is oppressed by her father
