Like, there’s no way they will end up as friends when the author been making official arts about them and every moment btw them in the manga feels romantic or deep affection . Kou x mitsuba to me gives me the same vibe as hanako x nene and I believe it’s been done purposely by the author which makes me confused about the author’s aim with them.
Plus I believe there was a recent poll (by the author) on who dates should the author draw of, and mitsukou made it to the list, so she must of know about how popular that ship is.

Your telling me the whole point of this arc is that isagi will continue winning against EVERY team without a challenge? Like I get he’s the mc but what I don’t get is the point of allowing isagi to win constantly. No one put up a fight against him except for his own teammates, like Kaiser. There’s not much to develop for the other couple. That’s why we don’t see much of them. Old Xian already concluded the dynamic of their relationship. Their feelings are mutual but in a very asexual way. So, there’s not much she can do about that couple to keep things entertaining. That’s why Mo and He Tian gained so much popularity and have become the main couple throughout the years. Because their relationship is also physical and more complex.

This is not a story that you choose to read because it has a collected and properly written plot. It’s more like a diary that you put random and scrambles thoughts about life in it. And it happens that these four characters are part of it. But good or bad writing? That’s irrelevant in this story.
