I thought we would finally see more of the other couple, hell, I thought we’ll be focusing on qiu’s past and on how he met he tian’s brother, yet we’re back on the side couple (my as well be the main).
I hope this comes back with side stories or something bc ain’t no fucking way they did not make shimayu (Shimon x mayura) canon. More importantly, I was robbed of them getting married and having children and a PROPER CONFESSION. I’ve been waiting fucking years, YEARSSS for them to be canon and THIS IS WHAT THE AUTHOR GAVE ME????
There’s a lot of things that the author did about this couple that annoyed me and I let it slide bc I thought maybe, MAYBE there would be more couple moments…

After skipping all the sex scenes of illay and taeui (bc it’s bare rape) someone told me that illay beated him in the next chapter (100) . I read that chapter , and he wasn’t beaten (thankfully) however illay did punch him and hurt him during sex (brutally squeezing his dick that taeui was going pale).
I can’t fanthom how people like illay (not people who like that he’s a genuine psychopathic character) with the way he treated taeui, kills people that aren’t a threat to him, rape anyone who attracts him, etc. the fact that people thinks his rape with taeui is hot and think every time illay fucks taeui is cute, is fucking crazy.
Plus on the other hand, you have novel readers who are saying that the rape in the novel was more serious and not romanticize compare to the manwha. It’s pretty fuck up how the manwha artist/authour is pushing down the serious tone of the series by adding chibis and making jokes when the Novel wasn’t like that.
Plus I hate how it looks like taeui is enjoying it and like the next day after the rape he’s all fine. Like no mental trauma whatever.
Makes me wonder if the author cut off things about the rapes in the manwha.
The people in the comment section who likes the step bro being with the mc (mind you that is half hypnotize and is not fully sane) are the same people who likes jiwhan in back to school.
The comments I read on here is the reason I stay away from comment section where the story has a rapist top that doesn’t see his wrong doings.
I do have to say is that i wished the author didn’t put jungwhi in the story bc it’s very obvious that the step bro and the mc is going to be end game bc it’s a toxic story. Unless the author pull a twist where the mc doesn’t fall for the toxic character and be with the nice dude, but that’s rare. Who knows though? Maybe jungwhi is going to be a bad guy too.

These latest chapters did however gave me hope and then….BOOM! A WHOLE chapter about qiu?!

I wonder if jiwhan really knows how much he’s similar to his father. Yes, you didn’t drive sooyoung to suicide like your father did to your mother, however, both you and your father seem to love your lover TOO much which leads to obsession.
Another thing is that both jiwhan and his father won’t admit to their flaws and think what they did was right.
I really want to see jiwhan’s father and mother story bc I wonder what triggered the mother to have a mental breakdown and help captive in her house. Plus she did say in the earlier chapters that the father promised to let her go if she gave birth to jiwhan (which didn’t happen).
