If I just ignore everything going on with the side “couple”, bc yuck, I actually think the grey morals explored here are interesting. He was a kid, taking care of the kids but also an accomplice who benefited off them. How responsible was he for the harm he brought when he was a manipulated child himself? It’s interesting but very sad. :(

I legitimately don’t understand why those r scenes were needed for the plot AT ALL. The fact he also doesn’t remember it makes me believe the act will never be addressed again which is just even worse.
I hate the top on a personal level, because there are people in real life who would do the exact same thing. That type of evil is so realistic it makes me mad.
