every one if these chapters are ones I remember very well. This is my favourite most cherished story. I think this is the 6-8th time I reread this one and I have bought a physical copy that's how much joy it brought me. But these chapters (everything after the murim arc excluded) were the ones I distinctively remember not caring at all in my first read but now in this read I begin to become emotional. Just the emotions put into this manhwa with such care that I cannot help but think of how the future chapter are and how everything will turn out for Gongja/Confucius (they did his name dirty. official ) But I also can't help but think about how the flame emperor would have acted in all of them. Even in events that he wouldn't have picked I still think "would this have been done too by the flame emperor" or I catch myself thinking of when certain events will happen. Like the 99th floor that was teased to be horrible by the sword emperor (hosted ghost tbh) or the current 1st ranked that seemingly disappeared.
All in all I wish I had a person to talk about this manhwa or a manhwa that could reach this potential of writing emotions just so I don't have to reread this one for the 7/9th time. The Raviel arc is even another masterful arc itself in which I fell completely in love with Gongja and Raviel and the art decisions for so many times. I really wish this manhwa could be recognised much more by the entertainment industry so that at least I could have more people talk about this story.

to anyone beginning to read this again - Read the unofficial till about chapter 80 and then go to the official for like 10 chapters. The bots fucked up the uploads of chapter 81-89 or so and the official fucked up Gongja's name (they thought they had to translate the name of the philosoph idk why when in other mahwnas they don't do that)

Why is everyone so pressed about the story actually explaining shit and not rushing the beginning I love this because there is no way I'm reading the first chapter and then see a rushed beginning just for some romance. I want revenge and not any of the guys appearing in this story to even be a male lead. They're all trash tbh.
