I really hate this kdrama cliched theme where they would go through a period of separation right at the ending. It was going great at the beginning and I really like in game romances like this but the only problem was that separation shit.

yup. ikr. The same was the problem with Until we meet again series. They just had to be separated even though its for like 3 months because the Uke was "confused" about his feelings even though throughput the series they both knew how much they meant for each other. It's just bs for me. I don't why it's like that. Mainly in kdramas its like atrend just without any cause. And things like meeting after soo many years just to fall in love again. I just cant stand these things. I'm not the only one who feels frustrated about this am I?

I think it was awkwardly pushed into the story, narrative/pace-wise but at a character development stand point, it seemed wise to make Jae’s character go thru that. Since they’re going to be adults with great responsibilities, I felt it truly showed us that they grew up and can protect a love that isn’t really shallow. On Eunsung’s part alone, from being an immature loverboy who based his decisions on love rather than logic, he learned to respect and honor his partner’s wishes & decided to focus/toughen up. As for Jae, he learned to have a goal wherein he can prove himself as someone who could stand on the same light as Eunsung. It felt wholesome that they’re both maturing and strengthening their relationship.
Sorry this got long ┗( T﹏T )┛

we think alike. If I might say one manga I like with the separation thing going on is I Have A Boyfrind

Oh, totally! I agree on that; I felt that the author could’ve transitioned it into the story better rather than suddenly going to the direction it went. It came off a little shallow and almost missed but thankfully the author has a direct to the point kind of story-trlling style so it didn’t really prolong our agonies lmao

Glad I dropped this since long ago. Half way through I/we somehow knew that Seth was being dragged on to these two's stupidity. And Because I was from the beginning, rooting for Seth and didn't wanna see all this drama and just wanna know what will happen in the last chapter. I'm in for stupid naive characters but there's so much one can tolerate!
I'm blessed as today there were more than 10 of my fav webtoons have updates
