I did not expect such a heartwarming story because sacrificial trope isn't exactly a good(?) trope.. but this one is so adorable and angsty all at once. And the curse thing is so well done! Author is cooking fr
I'd say thank you to the villagers too for "offering" Yukio if I were him. They're fools for not seeing his beauty!!! Yukio is strong as hell to live in that village and put up with their shit.

I HAD SUSPICIONS THAT BAEK JUNMIN (the ..?buzzcut?bald? guy that sabotaged Jaekyung in S1) IS/WAS A GANGSTER MOB because lemme be honest he doesn't even look like a legit boxer and the way he became a "super duper fast rising rookie" sounds suspicious enough. It's almost as if he entered the ring just to sabotage Jaekyung; which isn't surprising considering that he kinda made a lot of enemies, but they both knew each other, so this definitely sounds like a personal revenge or some unsettled beef between them to me. The fact that it's so well-planned,, they even made Dan as their scapegoat!
But anyway, I'm not even into boxing, but one look at Junmin and I can tell right away this guy is definitely NOT trained for professional boxing I had suspicions since the end of season 1 because it doesn't add up why he wanted to be Jaekyung's downfall (or he's just a pawn in someone else's plans). Chapter 73 pretty much answered to my suspicions.
My guess for the next chapter— minus probably the deadbeat dad's funeral— is those boys drag Jaekyung into the drug stuff, Jaekyung beat their asses, and all of them (or Junmin) get their asses beaten by the big boss of the drug dealing. Or idk Jaekyung called the cops and they get jailed but this one sounds impossible ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Point your finger to the culprit too !! We all know who's the bitter bitch here !!
