That ahjushi is a fucking groomer and a weirdo.

But we're saying that it's weird because he knew him when he was a CHILD. Imagine tryna date someone you met when they were a child? Bro that is literally kim soo Hyuns defense right there "yes I knew her as a kid but dated her when she was a fully grown woman" blah blah blah doesn't sound right does it? Like I don't think we should call this specific instance grooming but it's still weird.

Aren’t we kinda missing the point here? Kim Sae-ron was literally a kid. No one would’ve had a problem if he actually dated her as an adult, but he lied about that—there are pictures of them together when she was still underage. And honestly, why are we even dragging a serious real-life situation like this into defending fictional stories with made-up characters?

Taegu has never used Yeongwoon for his own gain or made any inappropriate moves. The story isn’t even finished yet—why are we jumping to conclusions? Let the author tell their backstory first. So far, it honestly just looks like Taegu cares about Yeongwoon and is a bit overprotective because he’s seen what Yeong's been through. Nothing shown so far really screams 'gross' or 'grooming.' Let’s just chill and see how the story unfolds.

...I swear you did not read my comment at all. YOURE missing the point. You're out here trying to defend this shit with your life lmfao.. we just tryna tell you that it's weird that he's supposed to be a love interest when the Mc was a literal child when they met. Yeah we don't know if the other guy started catching feeling for the Mc when he was still a child but it's still weird because THEY MET WHEN HE WAS A CHILD. Imagine thinking tne kid you saw grow up in that way? Are you not understanding what I'm saying here or are you just chosing to ignore the principles. Also the only reason I mentioned kim soo Hyun in the first place is bc of the way you were wording shit. I needed to paint a picture in your head because you didn't understand what we were trying to say.. and you're STILL not getting it.

Yeah, Taegun met Yeongwoon when he was a kid—but did he have any romantic feelings back then? We don’t know. And if the author ends up showing that Taegun had romantic feelings for Yeongwoon as a child, then I’m not supporting that, period. I won’t defend it, I won’t excuse it.
But if Taegun starts developing feelings now, when Yeongwoon is 26 and he’s 35—that is not grooming and I don't find it weird either. So far, there’s been zero indication in the story that Taegun ever groomed Yeongwoon or saw him in a romantic way when he was younger. And honestly, from how the story is unfolding, it’s pretty clear that Taegun still hasn’t developed those kinds of feelings. He’s just protective—because he’s seen what Yeongwoon’s gone through and he genuinely cares.
So instead of jumping to awful assumptions and fighting over a fictional story, maybe let’s just chill and let the damn thing finish first. It’s not that deep—calm the f*ck down.

Girl even I said it was a bit of a stretch to call it grooming. Idk why you're only replying to me lmfao.. second of all that wasn't my point and I don't think you're understanding what I'm trying to say here. I just found it a bit odd that mf is gonna try getting with someone he basically watched grow up/helped raise. If both of them had met as two consenting adults it wouldn't have mattered.. you're right about that. But that's not how it played out now did it? He in fact did meet him when he was a literal child. Are you seeing what I'm trying to get at here..? I'm actually stressed out idk how you don't find that weird?? Like I get you don't want to make assumptions and stuff but it's more about the principles/morals.

Also i love how you literally acknowledge why it's so wrong but then turn a blind eye on this manhwa. You literally make all the points yourself but somehow you still don't get it? Yes this specific case (Mc and unc) shouldn't be called grooming but pls at least acknowledge why we find it strange. Let's also think about how the Mc would feel if the unc who watched him grow suddenly made move. Yeah no.
but okerrr you do you. I'm not going to fight with you anymore.. you're an odd ball that's all I'm gonna say.

(It doesnt let me reply to that comment so here i am) Also I love how you literally acknowledge why it's so wrong in your previous comment about the kim soo Hyun case but chose to turn a blind eye to this manhwa. You literally said it yourself- "but there are photos of them when she was underage so thats different" you literally acknowledge the problem yourself yet? You're still not getting it it's the same shit. He knew the Mc when he was underage too!?!?!! What is there to miss? People would still have a problem with it what- look I'm sorry. I understand that you're trying to say that we shouldn't call this specific instance grooming and I acknowledge that. I don't think this is grooming. But at least try to acknowledge why we find it weird tho.. like imagine being the Mc and suddenly the unc who watched you grow up tries to pull a move on you LMFAO when the age gap in which they met as high-schooler and grown man.(and the Mc probably sees him as a brother or father figure) Yeah that sounds a bit uncomfortable doesn't it
anyway I got everything out of my system. I won't reply to you anymore.. I understand what you're trying to say and I hope you can acknowledge where I'm coming from too. Like you said we don't know where the story is going so let's just calm the fuck down :) I hope you have a good day.

You keep bringing up K. Diddy, but I really don’t think that situation compares to this manhwa. KSH dated a literal child—whether he waited or not, it’s still disturbing, and I get what you saying
But in this story, there’s no sign Taegu was waiting for Yeongwoon to grow up so he could date him. From what we’ve seen so far, Taegun hasn’t shown any romantic interest in Yeongwoon—not even now that Yeongwoon is 26.
I get why you'd ask, ‘how can someone date someone they met as a child and watched grow up?’ But I see it differently. I see Taegun as someone who helped a helpless kid escape a toxic home and find stability. That’s the kind of connection I think the story is showing, and that’s the backstory I’m hoping for.
If later on Taegun does start developing feelings for the adult Yeongwoon, I personally don’t find that weird. You do, and that’s totally valid. But I don’t, and that’s okay too. We just have different perspectives.
I honestly didn’t expect this to turn into a whole long debate over fictional characters. Like, what am I even doing writing paragraphs about people who don’t exist? I’ve never gone this deep over something like this on Mangago before—but I just wanted to share why I personally don’t find it weird.
You’re absolutely free to have your opinion, and I’m free to have mine. So let’s just agree to disagree and leave it at that. Thanks for the convo—have a nice day!

Revisiting here and people piss me off so badly because Siwoo isn't an angel lol, he's also a rapist but you won't say it because he raped the character you don't like. Dohyuk is just evil and also a bad person but Siwoo kept seeing him because Siwoo has sadistic desires and a moral superiority complex in which he believes torturing a guy like Dohyuk is doing a favor for Suha and he can act as violently as he wants in the bed without feeling guilty with Dohyuk since he's a bad person.

Am I wrong or is god his imagination? After what he went through, losing his family, being raped and feeling guilty about being a soldier, he was so mentally broken that he became schizophrenic and due to the trauma from being raped, he had come to believe that engaging in sexual activities with his imaginary god is how he's fulfilling his duties as a servant of god and a follower. I feel like he's trying to justify what he went through unconsciously... More like a copism. Or maybe I'm just reading it too much from a smutty short story.
Free the top. He had to put up with incest shit of the brothers and also was cheated? This is so disgusting.
