you’re absolutely right but to be honest with you, after thinking about it I haven’t actually encountered many of those tropes with high schoolers. theyre most often paired with another adult albeit young. nothing comes to mind that I can compare to.
But you know how my mind would justify that? Bc their appearance is young, their maturity level at a certain age probably correlates to the human life span. But I do think the supernatural element also makes a difference.
