I know a bunch of people hate the Kotaro guy and a bunch of others like him now. But I’m still going to stay neutral about him. He’s someone who’s seen our MC almost did a bunch of times when she was younger, he’s heard how people spoke of her behind her back, and he’s felt so much for her since they were young. But his hands were always tied behind his back, unlike our dear ML.
Our ML doesn’t care about what others think of him, only the MC now, but he still doesn’t care for others. Kotaro,’on the other hand, doe care, he also cares about what others might kinda think of the MC only because he knew of the time where she cared for all of that. Overall, the guy messed up a bunch of times, trying to do what he thought was best for the MC and to help her out but he messed up, now he sees the truth and will support her even if his heart yearns and hurts for her.
A good guy who messed up but is trying to redeem himself. Overall, just how an ordinary human would act like. So I don’t judge him nor dislike him, nor am I extremely biased over him.

People just don’t want to put themselves in his shoes. What he had to go through. But then again, this is just a manga. I still do not like how many wished for him to have died when he was hanging on the cliff — he went through things, so many things, for himself and for the MC. It was just a bad and sad occurrence that the MC had been kidnapped and that she fell in love with another man. But in the end, he still will happily help her out with her love, help the man that had threatened him multiple times, just for the MC to be happy. He’s a cool kinda guy

I remember seeing a whole review on the first season in the anime — so I had high hopes for our dude and his wife. Just remembered about this after a short and checked the ending out (rip) — happy with what happy even though idk most of the characters
For her to suffer so much like this. Living her remaining life to make her fathers wishes come true. To be seen as useless and a bursance in the eyes of her ‘mother figure’. Of course she’d want to stay with the only one who showed her true freedom. The only one who let her make her own decisions ( even if he was being a crazy hoe most of the time ). She deserves her love. She deserves her freedom. She deserves what she wants.
Right!? I just want her to be happy and not feel guilty for wanting to be happy or putting herself first.
I feel like our Crazy Hoe is the only one who’s teaching her how to actually live her life. Even though they’re in a very worrying setting but — gosh. This guy is making her live a more free life than she’s ever had before meeting him

I remember someone saying how the brother was gonna be slow in trusting the MC because she kept loosing his trust and gosh — dude. Never mind that. Of course the real Renee would loose her trust on her own family when she went through all of THAT and NONE OF THEM protected her. NONE. So, of course, I’m on OG’s Renee’s side and the MC’s now that there’s more lore on what OG Renee went through. I mean, even then, I was already on her side.
