gotta say, i love the begrudging friendship between momo and theo even though they don't fucking like each other

i don't consider myself a furry. however.

i don't know why i read webtoons with police investigations and criminal activity when i don't understand most of it and forget everything when a new chapter comes out. but alas

i love it when childcare manga show the child being unreasonable, anxious, aggressive, etc rather than being a perfect little angel all the time. some kids are very well-behaved, of course, but they naturally have their emotional ups and downs. i like seeing characters struggle with parenting and sometimes getting it wrong. (i'm also probably projecting because i helped raise my niece as a teenager and messed up A LOT)

yknow what. sometimes you just need a story where love and friendship triumph over evil. sometimes you need an arc where everyone fights to protect what's important to them and they succeed and live happily ever after. sometimes you need hope. and that's why i enjoy this story.

this is gonna sound weird, but i love the ages in this story. the mc and ml are late 20s/mid-30s, older than a lot of couples i've seen in webtoons. they're already mature and deal with issues accordingly. they get emotional, but not dramatically or explosively.
meanwhile, a minor antagonist like mi-ok is in her early 20s, but still immature. at the end of the day, she's just a kid who feels alone and wants to be happy. she's misguided and makes mistakes, but she has so much room to grow and change.
idk, something about it just soothes me. life doesn't start and end in your early 20s. you aren't mature just because you've reached adulthood. you can be head-over-heels in love without being consumed by emotion. as a young adult trying to find my way in this world, it's hopeful and encouraging.
