I remember bingeing this and I just realized I stopped at ch42 and never continued because I couldn't see what the story was trying to achieve exactly (just the MC picking up a sword?) according to my review I seemed to like the beginning. Is it worth it to continue? It's been over a year, maybe two, so I'd have to read it over again tho

I hesitated to read this because of the mixed comments, but I'm so glad I read it! The ML wasn't even as bad as I'd feared, but then again the bar for these is set in hell. The character development is also more than I'm used to seeing in yaoi. The ML actually showing regret for his actions? Absolute gold. Euiyoung was also sooo cute (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I was skeptical at first but this is definitely going to my fave list

This is so cute it's not complete, right? The last chapter is so abrupt so there's likely more of the extras.
Anyone have recommendations for something similar? Like this one too: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/december/

If you like December you should check out SamK’s other works- Half of Me, Payback, and Regas. Like December though, they all have some darker themes running through them. Regas is the “softest/fluffiest,” Half of Me is very very slow burn on the romance but has the funniest moments imo, and Payback is ranked my top BL of all time. Similar to this, in terms of a light hearted comedy, I’d recommend Guild Member Next Door (sometimes listed as Virtual Strangers). It’s the funniest BL I’ve ever read.

To add, if you want an Omegaverse like December that has a sort of melancholic undertone, unpleasant circumstances but very sweet relationship between the couple, then I’d recommend Whispers Through The Willows. The omegas kind of look similar too. But I can’t find it here, only on Bato. And finally, if you’re after a concept similar to this one, as in ML takes in a pet that turns out to be MC, then maybe try “Not A Peep.” (Seems popular but personally I dropped it cause art/bottom wasn’t my style and I didn’t find the story that engaging.) And heck, you know what, here’s some random recs off the top of my head of non toxic, GREAT plot, GREAT art, non slice of life BLs: (first 3 are kinda like shounen ai for first seasons but) The Hunter Wants To Live Quietly, Honbul, Mission: Save The Hunter, Dreaming of The Dokkaebi (SMUT).
Is this complete?
