I'm still waiting for those bonus chapters (－.－) but after finally reading the complete story years after I first started it, I can understand why things are the way they are, including the FL's frustrating personality.

To be honest though, I was mostly reading this for Kairak so when he went out of the picture from around chapter 100+, returning only at the end (with some sprinkling in between for plot purposes) I lost a lot of interest in the story. I skimmed through the chapters, ignored just about anything that wasn't dialogue and only read enough to understand the plot.

Well, high fantasy manhwas are always frustrating and a little weird to me (high fantasy in general, actually, which is why it's not a favorite genre of mine) so all things considered it's still a pretty solid story.

I did, however, note how Kairak grabbed Reana's butt multiple times in this manhwa he did that more than they kissed, which looked to be twice, though it's covered by darkness both times.

This is honestly a little draggy, and updates are slow. Anyone have any spoilers?

Translation quality goes down the drain from around ch90 and onward, and then the sister thing just makes everything about the MC and ML coming together super awkward.

Kinda felt bad for the emperor tho what a weak ending.

I tried this previously and wasn't a fan, but after trying it again after I saw it was completed, it turned out to be better than I thought. Of course, I skipped a lot of dialogue. I don't know if it's the art or the translation, or both, but sometimes characters would say things or react in ways that don't really make sense.

Well, the art is pretty, and the romance and brother-sister relationship was nice, so 8/10?

I don't know why people keep talking about Ijin resting, he's literally a top dog ex mercenary, of course he's going to get into a lot of messes. He probably does rest a lot in between plots, but the author only lets us see the action (most of the time, with some normal high school time sprinkled in.). Like, I don't think he's literally jumping from one baddie to the other the next day. There's probably days or even weeks in between, but this is an action manhwa, not slice of life.

So after reading to ch27 I went looking for spoilers, found the whole novel (a pdf in Spanish, it was a pain trying to get the whole file converted so I could Google translate it).

The Prince is basically the final boss. I was honestly shocked at how easily everything else was solved tbh. And vol 8 of the novel (final volume) made me dislike the ML a little bit.

Ok... No one attack me but... This reads so much like a shoujo manga, it has all the parts of shoujo that made me back away from the genre because I definitely didn't fit into the age group it was meant for.

We have the damsel in distress protagonist with a death wish who's always getting saved, with lots of dramatic monologue and inner dialogue, ready to jump into danger and put his life on the line to save the ML when he's weak AF and really only gets in the way.

Also, this manga is so wordy, I've found myself skipping over dialogue to get it over with. I'm only on ch12.
