I just kept on reading and reading until I finally arrived at the latest chapter cuz I naively assumed that surely they’re gonna get a happy or at least profound/meaningful ending one way or another and I needed that closure. But this chapter sobered me up to the fact that it’s never been that deep… these are truly unsalvageable characters and at the end of the day they’re that way on purpose; this shit was intentionally made to be so long and miserable and unsalvageable and drawn out!! Because some folks just get off to the kinky side of this cruel, violent and miserable fuckery! Duh! The high rating hardly means the story’s gonna get better; unfortunately it just means that people on mangago find them hot (which is fine)! And people like us need to stop desperately waiting for some happy or profound conclusion to come out of any of this because it’s not happening we’re never gonna get the closure we want it’s gonna be like fifty more chapters of this miserable shit just escalating more and more! and this is a sign we might be wasting our time on misery porn disguised as romance when we could be enjoying something actually pleasant. So yeah. Did not enjoy the journey at all but appreciate the unexpected wisdom I gained from this.

the story isnt shallow/ "never been that deep" just cause it isnt romance, reconciliation, peace and some sort of meaningful end/closure but it in itself as the angsty screwed up characters that they are intended to be are what makes it have depth and difference.
sure,i agree there's too much kinky fkery but the whole unsalvageable-ness is the point of it being psychological. some may get off it (yall why but not judging) but it's also another portrayal of the genre and not everything has to end with closure -- people r fcked up and this is their story being told
This 30 year old man has been leading on this fresh faced college student and then abandoning him and giving all kinds of indecisive mixed signals this entire time and when mc finally gets (justifiably) mad and confronts him about it he’s like “heh but what if I told you that I go into HEAT every full moon? What if I FUCKED YOU in the ASS? Does that answer your question?” Huh. What. No man. Just give us a real fucking answer for your immature behavior. Who asked for this “exorcist heat” bullshit. Also what’s the point in building up all this tension if they end up having sex for this half assed reason (exorcist heat??? what even???). Muheon does not deserve mc’s ass on a platter just like that after everything he’s put him through. The tables must be turned. I want our mc to be the one leading him on now.
