The answer is yes but also No, During the middle and close to the end he does, but then they break up cause MC realizes ML love for him is twisted and immature.
Near the end, MC "dies" and everything kinda restarts, ML remembers everything and realizes he is terrible, and immature and just a bit good man so avoids MC when he realize MC is alive. then MC moves close and they meet. MC doesn't remember anything, and confesses to him at one point, which ML turns down and is slowly working his way to feeling he deserves MC and Improve himself, and they end it with them NOT in a relationship but with a good note for everyone cause everyone is happy.
